Psychics, mediums, palm readers, mind readers, we all want to believe that what they tell us is true. Believing in the paranormal can help people believe that what these people are telling you is actually true. I was always skeptical about them, but after reading about all the tricks that they use to get information out of you made me really not like them. For someone to actually believe that they are reading your mind when they are saying very normal topics that can be concerning someone is beyond me. If they were able to tell me something about me that is not the same as anyone, or very very few people, then I might try to believe, but unlikely. For their Golden Rule to be “tell the client what he wants to hear” tells me plain and simple that they have no idea what they are talking about. No matter if it's true or not, they are going to tell you anything that will make you happy or satisfied with the reading.
If you are getting a reading done and someone comes out right before and starts talking to you, don't tell them anything. And if you are going to tell them something, just lie. The majority of the time they are just the assistants trying to fork out information from you for the reader, who then will tell you the same thing. Its hard to believe that people believe in this stuff. The whole crystal ball and tarot cards are just an act. They have no idea what they are talking about, they just want your money. They are simply actors or actresses who need work. They can be very dramatic if they have a ball or cards because they can stall easier and make the answers much more believable. It was interesting to see that this what people actually do for a living. They will tell someone that they are going to win the lottery tomorrow if that will make them a couple extra dollars. And to see that they actually ask you things before you even go in, and actually telling them things just helps them even more, shows that they are trying everything. Sometimes you will be the only one doing the talking, which in that case means you know your own future better than some ball or cards.
